Welcome home Adilynn!
It was very nerve racking to think that we were bringing our little girl home....and nurses or doctors weren't coming too! We were able to leave the hospital Thursday mid morning. Clay and I thought about asking to leave the night before, but due to having a C-Section we had to stay the night. This extra night of rest probably helped me recover so quickly! Unfortunately, that following Saturday I found myself in the ER with a spinal headache! Here I thought it was my lack of sleep and caffeine?! They gave me a blood patch and have been doing great!
Adilynn has been such a wonderful baby! She sleeps well (for a newborn) and gets up only two times during the night! I think God knew I would need some rest too! She definitely has the "Wright" gene because she loves to eat! It's really hard to believe a month has gone by so quickly! Here are some of the "firsts" for Adi!

Adilynn loves bathtime! We weren't sure she was going too since she hated her sponge baths!
Almost a smile...but I think she was sticking her tongue out at me since I made her wear a headband/bow! She already tries to get it off her head!
On our way to Adi's first doctor's appointment at two weeks old with Dr. Losew!
Adilynn grew 3/4 of an inch in length! She gained all her weight back to her orginal birth weight at 8 lbs. 4 oz. Dr. Losew even suggested that Adilynn start getting use to drinking out of a bottle since she will at daycare and it also gives Daddy a chance to be involved!

Adi loves her stuffed giraffe! It plays music and moves its head!
Here is Adilynn laying in the cradle that many generations of family members have slept in! She slept here for the first month...now she is sleeping in her "big girl" bed, the crib in her own room! Everyone gets more rest! She is even starting to sleep through the night...all of six hours in a row! Adilynn even takes her naps in her crib instead of her swing.
Happy One Month Birthday, Adilynn Leigh!
